Woven in Wool: The Magic of a Dundaga Blanket ✨

I never wash Dundaga yarn before I start knitting.
Not because I’m lazy — but because I love that moment of anticipation — knowing that after hours, weeks, even months of knitting, this wool will transform completely after its first wash.
Now I’m knitting a blanket. Slowly. Mindfully. Stitch by stitch, I weave in my thoughts, emotions, and memories. So much happens while the blanket grows — a month, maybe two. And then finally… it’s done.
You wash it. You lay it flat to dry.
And you just can’t stop looking at it.

That feeling — maybe it’s happiness? satisfaction? peace? — that’s the reason I can’t stop making these blankets.
