About Me
My name is Olga
Hi, I’m Olga. I’ve been knitting since childhood — just like my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. I’m originally from Ukraine and have lived in the Netherlands since 2022.
Over 15 years ago I discovered Kauni and Dundaga yarn, and nothing has ever touched me quite the same way — the natural feel, the scent of wool, the vibrant colours, the character of every handmade piece.
After moving, I couldn’t find these yarns anywhere and realized that the Baltic region — Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania — is still little known here, despite its rich craft traditions. People there preserve weaving and spinning with such warmth and sincerity — it’s deeply inspiring.
That’s how my small business was born: selling Baltic yarns. For me, it’s more than a job — it’s a way to stay close to people, support artisans, and share what I truly love.
